namo buddhaya one and all, and welcome to my little hidey hole from the cacophonic consumerism of the rest of the net. i'm a queer old zillenial from canada who loves rambling, video games, and learning about religions and cultures. i miss the old internet (pre-2010), so i'm trying to remake that sort of space here.
i'm unsure exactly what i want this place to be just yet, but hopefully it will become somewhere where i can yap freely :) discord and tumblr are the only other social media that i use, but even they can feel a bit too fast-paced and judgemental. i'm hoping that this will become a network of my thoughts that is, ultimately, made with myself in mind.
i'm trying not to hold myself to too high a standard with what i write, which is why i use the term "posts" rather than "blog." i'm much more of a microblogger and prefer making multiple short posts rather than fewer, longer posts. perhaps that's because of the generation of internet i've grown up on, or perhaps it's just me. either way, that's my writing (or, i guess, "posting") style.
